When developing the site design, our team faced a number of non-trivial tasks:

1. selection of harmonious and correct colors, since there was no brand book, and the current logo did not suit the client, and later it was replaced;
2. correct placement of the old logo;
3. easy navigation – two separate menus have been developed to differentiate the site sections by groups of visitors and the main information menu.

In this regard, the main page of the site turned out to be unusual and modern, it contains all the important information: news, a calendar of events, information about the academy, and partners of the university.

Faculties list page

Although this page is mandatory for such sites, its format may be different, if only because of the presence or absence of symbols for faculties and departments.

In this project, our team, in the absence of official graphic symbols, resorted to the use of abbreviations for faculties, for intuitive page navigation.

Faculty, department page

On the page of each department, contact details, its head, and a link to the page with a list of employees are usually placed. The main difference of this project was a separate news section for each of the objects.

For faculties, this page provides for the output of child departments, and information pages are available for each of the departments.

Phonebook page

Separately, I would like to note the page on which all the contact details of the academy for all faculties and departments have been collected, which will allow you to quickly find the desired phone number.

Students hostels page

On this page, you can not only get acquainted with the list of available buildings for students to live in, but also see their photos, contact commandants or managers, and also see the location of the hostel on the map.

Dissertations list page

Another distinguishing feature of the project was the dissertation catalog section, which publishes the work of graduate students and researchers. This section provides a filter that allows you to quickly find the job you need, and a table view simplifies the search.

Dissertation page

On this page, you can fully familiarize yourself with the scientific work and even download its files, as well as see other works similar in the specialty.

Educational programs list page

The Educational programs section presents all available areas of study for various specialties, which can also be filtered by parameters.

Event calendar

The event calendar page deserves special attention since here is all the main dates and times of events of the academy held are displayed.

Job fair page

There is also a separate section for posting vacancies from companies cooperating with the Ukrainian State Academy of Railway Transport, which will allow future specialists to easily get a job.
